In this session we will warm up our bodies with some exercises from Hatha Yoga. This first part will mobilize your physical structure and bring awareness to different body parts. The second part of the session consists of an improvisational movement task. I will give you a specific movement quality, an emotion..., which we will explore together in motion. Finally this can become an improvised dance. We can slightly adjust to your needs and your current physical and mental state. :)
I am a contemporary dancer, life long yoga student, yoga teacher and mother. I've been living pretty much a nomad artist life since my dance studies in Rotterdam (NL): working full time as a freelance dancer/ performer in different dance companies in Switzerland, Italy, France and Germany. Yoga practice has been my home. Finally in 2017 I settled down in Frankfurt. I am now continuing my Yoga teacher training and back on stage (after becoming a mother) performing as a contemporary dancer.
